Terms and Conditions below supplement the General Terms and Conditions of the OpenProf Portal posted
here. The General Terms and Conditions as well as the following Terms and Conditions apply to all of you who – or intend to – create a private account on OpenProf as a (private) teacher or professor. If you have any questions, you are very welcome to contact us

Definitions
The definitions below supplement the definitions in the
General Terms and Conditions.
Advertising Points are the internal currency of the Portal through which education advertisers can display their ads on the OpenProf Portal.
Registered Educator is any user who has successfully registered on private pages dedicated to knowledge providers.
General Provisions
The general provisions below supplement the general provisions of the
General Terms and Conditions.
In certain cases (such as the Contract for participation in the production of the Learning Content), the copyright of the content published on the OpenProf Portal may be defined differently than in the General Terms and Conditions. In these cases, the authorship shall be defined by the Contract, which complements the General Terms and Conditions.
Obligations of Users
In addition to the obligations set out in the
General Terms and Conditions, the User further undertakes:
- To provide the Portal with true and valid information upon registration,
- Not share his/her private account as a registered user with other users,
- Not to use the OpenProf Portal to create a false identity for the purpose of misleading or concealing his/her true identity.
The Registered Educator agrees that we can send him/her e-mails with information related to supply and demand, warnings and services related to his/her mailbox, administrative messages and other information related to his/her activities on the OpenProf Portal.
By activating the SMS notification, the Registered Educator agrees that we can send him/her SMS to his/her mobile phone, which is related to the demand for his/her services or the services he/she uses within OpenProf Portal.
OpenProf Portal Disclaimer
OpenProf Users understand and accept that:
- The Portal Administrator does not guarantee the success of advertising campaigns through the OpenProf Portal;
- The Portal Administrator does not interfere with the relationship between the provider and the consumer of services; the price of the services is solely a matter of agreement between the person providing the service and the person requesting the service;
- The OpenProf Portal also offers Registered Educators the option of receiving various points. A Registered Educator can earn points in a variety of ways, but in no case can he/she claim monetary equivalent for them unless explicitly agreed otherwise in advance.
Reproduction and restriction of access to paid learning content
Printing
Paid Learning Content, storing it and all other types of reproduction of the
Paid Learning Content in part or in full is not allowed without the written permission of the Portal Administrator.
In case of objective suspicion of violation of the Article on reproduction, the Portal Administrator reserves the right to block access to Paid Learning Content temporarily.
In case of a violation of the Article on reproduction, the Portal Administrator reserves the right to block access to Paid Learning Content permanently. In this case, the User shall not be entitled to a refund of prepaid access to learning materials.
Restricting access and closing a User account on the OpenProf Portal
Any Registered Educator can deviate from the Terms and Conditions by deleting (closing) their User account on the OpenProf Portal and terminating the use of the OpenProf Portal.
In the event of any misuse, illegal use, violation of the Terms and Conditions or any other activity that would be contrary to the rules of use, the spirit of the OpenProf Portal or its basic idea, the Portal Administrator reserves the right to either block or delete the User account.
When closing the User account, the User shall not be entitled to any refund in any sense. The User undertakes and is aware that when closing the User account:
- If it has been concluded, he/she will terminate the Contract on participation in the production of learning materials;
- He/she will lose all data input into the OpenProf Portal;
- He/she will lose all points earned on the OpenProf Portal;
- He/she shall be ineligible for any reimbursement for points held as a member of the OpenProf Portal;
- He/she shall be ineligible for a refund of prepaid services;
- He/she shall be ineligible for any reimbursement of costs, direct or indirect, incurred due to closing of the User account.
