A wire between the poles of a large horseshoe magnet is carrying a current. The figure below shows the direction of the force acting on the wire.




  • The magnetic poles are interchanged. On the figure below, draw an arrow to show the direction of the force on the wire.




  • The battery is now reversed. On the figure below below, draw an arrow to show the direction of the force on the wire.
