A Satellite in a Geostationary Orbit

A Satellite in a Geostationary Orbit problem 1

Geostationary orbit is that orbit of the satellite where the orbital time of the satellite is equal to the orbital time of the Earth. Because the Satellite is moving in the same direction as the Earth, to a stationary observer on Earth it looks as if the satellite is at rest. What should be the height of the orbit of a geostationary satellite? The radius of the Earth is 6370 km.
