Magnetic Flux Density

Magnetic Flux Density problem 10

There are two parallel, long, straight conductors. A current of flows through the first conductor and through the second. Calculate:

  • where in between both conductors the magnetic field density equals zero if the conductors are spaced apart.

  • the magnetic field density at a point away from the first conductor and away from the second.

The currents in both conductors flow in the same direction and the permeability of free space is .
