A 10 cm long bar that hangs like a swing on two 4 m long threads is placed In a homogeneous magnetic field of a flux density of 1.5 T. The forces are perpendicular to the bar (see the figure below).

  • Explain how the induced voltage changes with time if the bar oscillates harmonically with an amplitude of 8 cm.
