The coordinates of a rectangle are given by the points A (1,1), B (7,1), C (7,3) and D (1,3 ).


  • Draw the figure in a coordinate system and calculate the perimeter of the rectangle ABCD.


  • Point T lies on side AB, so that ratio , and point S bisects side BC. Draw the points T and S in the given coordinate system and calculate the length of the line TS.


  • Rectangle ABCD represents the body surface area of the prism with an equilateral triangle base. If the height of the prism is h = 2, calculate the volume of the prism.
